some exciting news from our home front... we've adopted a baby! she has come to us from north carolina but was born in boston. we've known for a time now that she was on her way, but were unsure of her arrival date. we welcomed her into our home late last night and she's beautiful.
from what i understand she has a love for jazz and she likes to be tickled. she's of chickering descent and she's quite grand.
this morning kevin introduced her to the boys...

details: this piano belonged to mrs.nordberg's father. it has been in storage for nearly 2 years and they needed to find a temporary home for it. so we feel pretty blessed that we get to give it a home for awhile. it's really pretty and has a great sound. for being in storage and making a long trek up north, enduring different climates, it's amazing that it has stayed decently in tune. obviously we still need to have someone come to the house and do a tune up... (is that what you call it? i suddenly feel like i'm talking about my car.) :)
